What follows is a comprehensive brief on our warranty and service information, as well as a section devoted to providing you access to the programs and drivers your machine would have shipped with. All Performance PC computers have a 3 year warranty for labor and 1 year warranty for parts. Should you encounter a serious problem related to hardware failure in your system that cannot be solved over the phone with Performance PC Technical Support, the support representative will give you directions for shipping that unit to Performance PC for repair. Shipping costs incurred returning the system for warranty repair during this period will be the responsibility of the consumer, however Performance PC will cover the cost of returning the computer to you.
Phone Support will be available for the lifetime of the computer. If a peripheral or removable part is damaged, Performance PC may opt to send that part to the customer rather than have the entire PC returned for repair.
For any issues during the first 30 days of ownership, Performance PC will cover the cost of both shipping to and from the customer's location. For international customers, Performance PC will cover the cost of a local computer repair. Performance PC is not responsible for any electronic data lost due to virus infection, hardware failure or electrical failure. Nor is Performance PC responsible for any data sent to us on repair or upgrade orders.
Should you be unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, Contact Performance PC within 30 days of the original ship date for a full refund of the system price. A full refund is not available for financed computers. To diagnose a problem and/or obtain a Return Authorization, contact our technical support line at 1-888-574-6342 ext. 2 or 1-630-345-4070. The system must be returned in its original packaging, with all materials (manuals, CDs and software). Any software package must be unopened, unregistered, and resalable to receive a refund for it. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the system. Any special order item returns may be subject to a restocking fee. The system and all components must be delivered to Performance PC within 30 days of the date the system was shipped from Performance PC.
When you make a purchase, we collect and store the name, address, and credit information from you in order to process and provide you with updates on the order. The information accepted using SSL encryption technology and is stored on a secure server and kept only for our records, and credit info is not kept for more than 14 days. We do not gather any information that you do not directly give us.
At Performance PC, we will not release any customer information to any party wanting to rent, lease, or buy the data. We are committed to the security and protection of your information, and have put in place numerous physical and electronic locks to keep your information secure and private.
